About Overboard

On the Thai island of Phi-Phi, are the roots of the OverBoard story. Joel and Dan found the yellow waterproof bag that was to change their lives among the diving shops.

From the ravages of sand and water, for weeks they'd fought to protect their money and such, mobile phones, and iPods.

Not easy in view of how much hanging out on the wet deck of dive boats, surfing, leaping from boat to boat taxi, and sailing they'd been doing.

Everything was dry and protected, now, thanks to their new yellow friend. But more was to change.

They were persistently asked Where can I get one of those?, for what was left of their six months out. The light went on! Thousands of others needed what they needed.

They were researching, designing and producing the first OverBoard product - the perfect tough dry bag, back home, even before the tan had faded.

From a growing band of customers, family and friends - the range just had to grow - such was the response. For everything from iPods, to phones and more, more individual watertight protection, sizes and colors.
